Two actions in the district court for Morrison county, one for wrongful death by Joseph Brady as trustee for the surviving spouse and next of kin of Irma Linda Brady whose death resulted when a car driven by Joseph Brady, her husband, in which she was a passenger collided with a truck driven by defendant Francis OBrien after it was struck by a car driven by defendant Mike Kroll; and the other by said Joseph Brady for medical expenses for his wife, himself, and his minor children who were also passengers. The cases were tried together before Rol E. Barron, Judge, and a jury, and at the close of the testimony, verdicts were directed in favor of defendant Francis OBrien. There were verdicts against defendant Mike Kroll who admitted liability. Plaintiff appealed from an order in each case denying his motion for a new trial.
